Side Feeder

A side feeder is a device used in industrial production to transfer materials from one side to the other. It pushes the material onto the conveyor belt through a drive device, thereby achieving lateral movement of the material. Side feeders are often used in conjunction with twin screw extruders to play a filling and reinforcement role in the processing of engineering plastics and modified engineering plastics.

Side feeders are suitable for filling and reinforcement processes in the processing of engineering plastics and modified engineering plastics. This includes short fiber reinforced products such as short wave fibers, short carbon fibers, and mineral powder fillings, such as graphite, talcum powder, calcium carbonate and other inorganic mineral materials.
